OUR PAIN TEAM

Dr. Jagjeet Singh is a director of Interventional Pain Consultants.  Dr. Singh is a graduate of Saint George’s University School of Medicine.  He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Boston University Medical Center.  He subsequently underwent further training as a Pain Management Fellow, at Fletcher Allen Health Care Center of the University of Vermont.  Dr. Singh believes in treating the patient as a whole— in mind, body, and spirit— to achieve pain relief. Dr. Singh works closely with his patients to build a relationship of compassion and mutual understanding. He utilizes the most up-to-date pain management interventions, medical management, physical therapy, and chiropractic care to get you back into life.

 

Dr. Singh has participated in multiple regional and national conferences and has participated in the creation of National Institute of Health grant proposals for the study of chronic pain.  He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology and is also Board Certified in Pain Medicine.

DR. SINGH

Dr. Minyi Tan grew up in New York City and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biochemistry from Stony Brook University.   She is a graduate of Stony Brook University School of Medicine, and has conducted research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.  She completed her residency training in Anesthesiology at New York Presbyterian Hospital at Weill Cornell Medical Center, and underwent further training as a pain management fellow at the Tri-Institutional Pain Management Fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital at Well Cornell Medical Center, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Hospital of Special Surgery.  Her interests in pain medicine include acute and chronic post-surgical pain, neck and spine disorders, musculoskeletal disorders, cancer-related pain, neuropathic pain, and chronic regional pain syndrome.  Her treatment goals are to use multi-modal approach that is customized to each patient as well as minimal invasive procedures to alleviate pain, improve quality of life and functionality.  She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology.  In her free time, Dr. Tan is an avid traveler, an active snowboarder, and a food enthusiast.  

DR. TAN

Graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2000 with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. She then earned a Physician’s Assistant Masters Degree from Seton Hall University's School of Graduate Medical Education in 2008.  She has an interest in regional anesthesia  and chronic pain management.  She is part of the pain management team, and assists in the management of office-based and hospital patients.
